Terms and Conditions


1. Booking & Deposits

Should you wish to make a booking, we will require completion of a Booking Form together with a non-refundable booking deposit of 25% of the total estimated balance. This will secure our services on your chosen date and bind you by these terms. However, some details may be changed after this time including those outlined in sections 2 & 3.

2. Final menu


The final menu will be as per our original quotation unless changes have been agreed in advance.

3. Final numbers

Final guest numbers are due at least 14 days before the event. Prior to this time we will work on the basis of your original quotation unless you have specified otherwise. When quoting we will always give details of the minimum numbers on which our prices are based. This is the foundation of our costings and the minimum number can only be changed up to 10 days before the event and it may affect the price. After this time you will be invoiced for this minimum amount notwithstanding the amount of people you actually have at your function.  We can however accept reasonable additions to numbers up to 4 days prior to the event. On bookings at short notice (under 14 days before event) we will need minimum numbers immediately and these cannot be changed.

Please remember to include any entertainment or persons other than your guests that you would like to cater for on the day within your final guest number.

4. Breakages/Damages

Any additional linen, glassware and electrical equipment required for the event
will be provided and charged to you, the Client. The Client MUST pay for the
breakage of or damage to any hired equipment. A separate invoice will be sent
should this be necessary.

5. Travel Costs


Details of these will be provided within our estimate of costs.

6.  Site Visits & Meetings


The price includes a site visit if required.  Subsequent visits are chargeable to the client at £25.00 an hour.

7. Payment

Weddings

You will be invoiced no later than 10 days prior to the date of your event. The balance shall be due no later than 7 days prior to the day of your function and is payable by either cash, cheque, credit or debit card.

All other events

You will be invoiced no later than 7 days prior to the date of your event. The balance shall be due on the day of your function and is payable by either CASH or CHEQUE.  If you wish to pay by credit or debit card, the outstanding balance MUST be settled prior to the day of the function.

8. Cancellation


Once you have paid the deposit and accepted our terms, the following charges will apply in the event a cancellation notwithstanding the reason.

Less than 7 days notice -100% of the balance will be charged

Less than 14 days notice - 50% of the balance will be charged

Less than 21 days notice - 25% of the balance will be charged

In the event of a cancellation an invoice will be issued for the relevant amount and payment will be required within 7 days.

9. General

Some dishes may contain nut traces and we must be notified well in advance of
any special dietary requirements.

10. Rubbish Disposal

All waste will be bagged and left for local refuse collection. Waste can be removed on request. A small charge of £25.00 will be made to cover disposal costs.
